Bitcoin has achieved the highest value this year at USD11,304.

On Sunday 23 June evening, the bitcoin cryptocurrency has reached its largest value this year, securing a new high for this year which was previously USD11,215. This high was preceded by a drop of the bitcoin to USD10,416 on the same dame morning. 

The increase in the price of the bitcoin was probably supported by the recent announcement of the Facebook corporation about launching their Libra cryptocurrency, which led to massive purchases even of the bitcoin by traders.

However, it did not reflect significantly on other cryptocurrencies and the rest of the cryptocurrency market remained roughly on the same level. The Cardano (ADA) and the UNUS SED LEO (LEO) cryptocurrencies made a profit of 0.4 – 2.4 %.
